How Do I Lock a THPay Card in Telegram Wallet?

If you are not using the card temporarily, suspect that the card details have been exposed, or notice an unauthorized transaction, you can lock the card in Telegram Wallet. Once locked, the card cannot be used for new transactions.

 

1. Open THPay Telegram Wallet.

2. Tap [Credit Card].

3. Select the card you want to lock.

4. Tap [Lock Card].

5. Read the lock card notice.

6. Tap [Confirm Lock].

7. Complete the required security verification.

8. When the page shows [Card Locked Successfully], the card is immediately locked.

 

• New purchase transactions cannot be initiated.

• Completed historical transactions are not cancelled.

• Refunds that have already been submitted will continue to be processed.

• Reversals, settlement adjustments, or refund adjustments related to previous transactions may still be posted.

• The card balance does not disappear.

• Locking a card is not the same as closing or cancelling the card.

Yes. After you confirm the lock and complete verification, the card is locked immediately.

 

2. Can a refund still be credited after the card is locked?

Yes. Refunds, reversals, and settlement adjustments related to previous transactions will continue to be processed.

 

3. Does locking the card cancel it?

No. Locking only pauses new transactions. It does not cancel the card.

 

4. Can I still view card details and transactions after locking the card?

5. Is locking the card enough if I see an unauthorized transaction?

Lock the card immediately and contact customer support as soon as possible to report the transaction.
